Beautiful Three-Dimensional Wooden Wall Art
The WoodLeo world map is made from individual birch plywood components that are arranged together to create a decorative representation of the world.
The engraved country boundaries, place names and layered wooden details provide depth and texture, making the finished piece stand out from conventional printed maps or framed wall pictures.
Its open wall-mounted design allows the background wall colour to remain visible between continents and decorative elements, creating an attractive display that works particularly well on plain interior walls.
Large 160 x 85cm Statement Design
With an assembled width of approximately 160cm and height of 85cm, this Large Size L version provides a substantial decorative feature for living rooms, offices, bedrooms and other spacious interior walls.
The generous dimensions allow the detailed country outlines and decorative geographical features to form a striking focal point.
It is particularly suitable for positioning above sofas, desks, sideboards and other furniture where sufficient wall space is available.
Sky Multicolour Design
The 2-Sky colour variation features a decorative combination of contrasting tones across the wooden continents and countries.
The multicolour arrangement highlights different geographical areas while giving the map a distinctive artistic appearance.
Natural wood grain, painted finishes and engraved detailing combine to create a textured wall decoration that complements modern, contemporary and travel-themed interiors.
Detailed Countries and Geographical Features
The wooden map includes engraved geographical details that add character and interest to the completed display.
- Country outlines and border details
- Capital city names
- Selected states and regional boundaries within the United States
- Selected Canadian and Australian regional details
- Antarctica
- Ocean names
- Decorative compass
- Wooden aeroplanes and ships
The map is designed primarily as decorative wall art rather than a precision geographical reference or navigational chart.
Natural Birch Plywood Construction
The WoodLeo map is manufactured using birch plywood with painted surfaces and engraved geographical details.
The wooden components create a lightweight decorative construction while producing a dimensional effect once mounted.
As wood is a natural material, subtle variations in grain, colour and texture may be visible between individual pieces.
Adhesive Wall Mounting System
The map includes double-sided acrylic adhesive tape for attaching the wooden components to a suitable wall surface.
This installation method avoids the need to drill individual mounting holes for the map pieces.
Positioning templates and instructions are included to help arrange the continents and decorative accessories in the intended layout.
Important: The supplied adhesive is not suitable for wallpaper. It may also damage paint or decorative finishes when removed, so check the suitability of the wall surface before installation.
Installation and Assembly
Allow approximately 1–2 hours to assemble and install the map, although larger arrangements and detailed positioning may require additional time.
For best results:
-
Prepare the Wall: Choose a clean, dry, smooth and suitable wall surface with enough space for the completed 160 x 85cm arrangement.
-
Plan the Layout: Arrange the main wooden pieces and decorative elements before attaching them permanently.
-
Use the Templates: Follow the supplied positioning guides to establish the correct placement of the main map sections.
-
Apply the Adhesive: Attach the double-sided tape to the wooden pieces as directed in the installation instructions.
-
Position Carefully: Align the continents and smaller pieces before pressing them firmly into place.
-
Add Decorative Details: Position the compass, aeroplanes, ships and ocean names to complete the display.
Take particular care when positioning smaller islands and individual country pieces, as the adhesive may be difficult to reposition once firmly attached.
