Soft-Close Hinge Mechanism
The Harbour Housewares toilet seat features a soft-close hinge system designed to lower the lid and seat gradually rather than allowing them to fall freely.
This controlled closing action helps reduce noise and the impact associated with conventional toilet seats. The mechanism is particularly useful in shared bathrooms, family homes and other areas where quieter operation is preferred.
For correct operation, gently lower the seat or lid and allow the hinge mechanism to complete the closing movement without forcing it.
Adjustable Gold-Coloured Hinges
The toilet seat is fitted with decorative gold-coloured hinges designed to complement the dark green finish.
The adjustable mounting system provides multiple fixing positions to assist with alignment on compatible oval toilet pans.
The hinge arrangement is intended to accommodate different suitable toilet fixing positions, although compatibility depends on the dimensions and configuration of the individual toilet.
Engineered Wood Construction
The seat and lid are manufactured from MDF engineered wood, providing a substantial and rigid construction.
The finished surface is designed for everyday bathroom use and offers a smooth seating area that can be cleaned with appropriate household cleaning products.
As the seat contains engineered wood, it should not be immersed in water or exposed to prolonged standing moisture, which may damage the material or its protective finish.
Modern Green and Gold Bathroom Styling
The combination of dark green MDF and gold-coloured metal hinges creates an elegant decorative appearance.
The colour scheme works particularly well with white ceramic bathroom fittings, neutral tiles, natural wood furniture and gold or brass-effect bathroom accessories.
Its simple oval silhouette makes the toilet seat suitable for both traditional bathroom settings and more contemporary interiors.
