Real Moving Mechanical Gears
Unlike clocks with fixed decorative cog designs, this TOKTEKK wall clock features moving gears that rotate when the dedicated batteries are installed. The exposed gear arrangement adds movement and character to the clock face, making it an attractive decorative feature even when you are not checking the time.
The gear mechanism operates independently from the quartz timekeeping mechanism. This means you can use the clock for normal time display without continuously operating the decorative gears.
Distinctive Vintage Industrial Design
The large circular metal frame surrounds a skeleton-style dial with decorative Arabic numerals and visible internal gears. Its grey bronze colouring creates an aged metallic appearance that works particularly well with exposed brick, wood, neutral walls and industrial-style furnishings.
The layered construction and approximately 7.5cm depth give the clock a three-dimensional appearance, helping it stand out as a decorative wall feature.
Easy-to-Read Analogue Display
The clock features large Arabic numerals positioned around the outer dial, together with contrasting hour and minute hands for convenient time reading.
The quartz mechanism operates without a traditional ticking second hand, making it suitable for everyday use in living spaces, kitchens and home offices.
Battery Operation
The clock uses three separate AA 1.5V carbon batteries to operate its two functions:
-
1 x AA Battery: Powers the quartz clock movement and time display.
-
2 x AA Batteries: Power the decorative rotating gears.
Install the batteries with the correct polarity and allow a short time for the gear mechanism to begin moving. Use the adjustment control on the rear of the clock to set the correct time.
