FLYZZZ Adjustable Fly Screens for Windows – 2 Pack, 50cm High x 70–132cm Wide, White Aluminium Frames with Fibreglass Insect Mesh
Enjoy fresh air and natural ventilation while helping keep flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects outside with the FLYZZZ Adjustable Window Fly Screens. Supplied as a convenient pack of two, these expandable insect screens feature sturdy white aluminium frames and fine fibreglass mesh, providing a practical solution for compatible sash and sliding windows.
Each screen measures 50cm high and adjusts horizontally from 70cm to 132cm wide, allowing it to fit a range of window openings. The sliding design makes installation straightforward without drilling or permanent fixings. Simply position the screen inside a suitable window opening, extend it to the required width and secure it using the window sash.
Please Note: This listing includes 2 complete adjustable fly screens, each measuring 50cm high x 70–132cm wide. These screens are primarily designed for compatible single-hung and double-hung sash windows. The window opening must be taller than 50cm, with a suitable width between 70cm and 132cm. Please measure your window carefully before purchasing, as compatibility with UK window styles is not universal.

Adjustable Window Compatibility
Each FLYZZZ fly screen has a fixed height of approximately 50cm and an adjustable width between 70cm and 132cm.
-
Screen Height: 50cm
-
Minimum Screen Width: 70cm
-
Maximum Screen Width: 132cm
-
Suitable Window Opening Height: Greater than 50cm
-
Suitable Window Opening Width: 70–132cm
The screens are primarily intended for single-hung and double-hung windows where the sliding sash can help hold the screen securely in place. They may also be suitable for certain sliding windows or roller shutter arrangements where the opening dimensions and frame design allow correct installation.
Please check the window's opening mechanism, available frame depth and overall dimensions before ordering. Not all outward-opening casement windows, tilt-and-turn windows or other UK window designs will be compatible.
Simple Tool-Free Installation
The adjustable design allows each screen to be fitted to a compatible window without permanent installation.
-
Step 1: Open the window and measure the clear opening.
-
Step 2: Position the fly screen within the suitable window frame or track.
-
Step 3: Slide the expandable section horizontally until it reaches the required width.
-
Step 4: Check that the screen sits correctly against the surrounding frame and that the weatherstripping is positioned appropriately.
-
Step 5: Lower or close the window sash against the screen, where applicable, to hold it in place.
-
Step 6: Check that the screen is stable and that there are no significant gaps around the edges.
For removal, carefully release the window sash and slide the screen back towards its minimum width before lifting it out.
Fresh Air with Insect Protection
The fine fibreglass mesh is designed to allow airflow through the window opening while providing a barrier against many common flying insects.
This makes the screens particularly useful during warmer weather when opening windows can help improve ventilation. Their removable design also allows you to store them away when insect protection is no longer required.

-
Correct Pack Size: This listing includes two complete fly screens, not one.
-
Correct Dimensions: Each screen is 50cm high and adjusts from 70cm to 132cm wide.
-
Window Measurement: Measure the clear opening of your window while it is open, rather than measuring only the outer window frame.
-
Window Compatibility: Primarily designed for compatible single-hung and double-hung sash windows. Other window types may not provide suitable support.
-
Installation: The screens are designed for tool-free installation in suitable window openings. They do not require permanent screw fixing.

-
Secure Positioning: Ensure the screen is held securely by the window arrangement before leaving it in place.
-
Child and Pet Safety: These screens are not designed as fall-prevention barriers or security guards. Do not rely on them to prevent children or pets falling through an open window.
-
Window Security: An open window may present a security risk even when a fly screen is fitted.
-
Fire Safety: Do not obstruct windows required for emergency escape. The screen must be removable when necessary.
-
Weather Conditions: Remove or secure the screens appropriately during severe weather or strong winds.
-
Excluded Items: Windows, window frames, blinds and other accessories shown for illustration are not included.
