Complete Resin 3D Printing Post-Processing
Resin 3D prints typically require cleaning and further curing after removal from the printer.
The ELEGOO Mercury Plus V3.0 brings both processes together, allowing you to wash away residual uncured resin before transferring the model to the rotating UV curing platform.
This integrated arrangement provides a convenient workflow for hobbyists, model makers, designers and other resin 3D printing users.
Large 7.5-Litre Washing Capacity
The Mercury Plus V3.0 features a 7.5-litre cleaning container, providing more space than the previous Mercury Plus V2.0.
The increased capacity makes it suitable for processing larger compatible models and multiple smaller prints where the total dimensions remain within the washing area.
The container is removable, allowing cleaning liquid to be managed separately from the main machine.
Please Note: The 7.5-litre specification refers to the washing container capacity. The maximum usable model dimensions depend on the selected cleaning method.
Two Convenient Washing Methods
The machine supports two different washing arrangements to accommodate compatible resin 3D printing workflows.
-
Hanging Wash: Allows suitable models to be washed while attached to a compatible build plate, with a stated washing area of 214 x 135 x 180mm.
-
Basket Wash: Allows removed printed models to be placed in the washing basket, with a stated washing area of 230 x 135 x 260mm.
The basket method is particularly useful for cleaning individual models and smaller components, while hanging washing may be convenient when the printer's build plate is compatible with the mounting arrangement.
Not all printer build plates will fit the hanging system. Check dimensions and mounting compatibility before use.
Efficient Motor-Driven Washing
The Mercury Plus V3.0 uses motor-driven liquid agitation to circulate the cleaning solution around printed models.
This movement helps remove uncured resin from compatible surfaces, recessed details and accessible model features.
The upgraded POM bearing supports smoother movement of the washing mechanism during operation.
Cleaning effectiveness depends on the resin type, selected cleaning liquid, model geometry and processing time.
360° Rotating UV Curing Platform
After washing, compatible resin models can be placed on the curing platform for further UV exposure.
The platform rotates through 360° during operation, allowing different sides of the model to receive light as it turns.
This helps provide more consistent exposure around accessible external surfaces compared with leaving a model stationary.
Complex shapes, deep recesses and hidden areas may still require repositioning or additional curing according to the resin's instructions.
Adjustable Touch-Control Timer
The front control panel provides an intuitive interface for selecting and adjusting the washing or curing duration.
Processing times can be set up to a maximum of 30 minutes, allowing the machine to be adapted to different model sizes, resin formulations and cleaning requirements.
The digital display shows the selected or remaining processing time, helping you monitor the current cycle.
Anti-UV Protective Cover
The Mercury Plus V3.0 features an orange protective cover designed to block 99.9% of ultraviolet light.
This cover helps reduce exposure to UV radiation while the curing function is operating.
The machine also incorporates a microswitch that stops the curing process when the cover is removed.
The cover must remain correctly fitted during normal curing operation, and the safety interlock must never be bypassed.
Increased Washing and Curing Capacity
Compared with the Mercury Plus V2.0, the V3.0 offers a larger washing container and expanded curing space.
The washing capacity increases from approximately 3.5 litres to 7.5 litres, providing around 114% more volume.
The curing volume is also approximately 5.6 times that of the previous version.
These changes allow the V3.0 to accommodate a wider range of suitable resin models while retaining a compact integrated design.
Compatible with LCD, SLA and DLP Resin Printers
The ELEGOO Mercury Plus V3.0 is designed for post-processing models produced by many resin 3D printers.
Suitable printer technologies include:
-
LCD / MSLA: Compatible resin prints from suitable masked stereolithography printers.
-
SLA: Appropriate resin models produced using stereolithography technology.
-
DLP: Compatible models produced using digital light processing resin printers.
The station can be used with prints from suitable ELEGOO Mars and Saturn machines, as well as compatible printers from other brands.
Build plate compatibility and maximum model dimensions must be checked separately, particularly when using hanging wash mode.
Ideal for Resin 3D Printing Projects
The Mercury Plus V3.0 provides a practical post-processing solution for a variety of resin printing applications.
-
Miniature Models: Wash and cure compatible gaming figures and tabletop miniatures.
-
Decorative Figures: Process suitable display models and figurines.
-
Scale Models: Clean printed components before final finishing and assembly.
